S spunbond is usually the economical starting point for shopping bags, agriculture cover, furniture lining, shoe materials, packaging and basic disposable applications. SS improves web uniformity and hand-feel, while SSS is used when surface quality and softness are stronger buying points.
The right choice depends on the target application and grade. For a soft hygiene layer, SSS may justify the cost. For a shopping bag or basic cover material, S or SS may be enough after tensile and machine-fit testing.
When sending an inquiry, do not only ask for “spunbond price”. Send application, GSM, width, color, softness target, treatment direction and monthly volume so samples can be matched correctly.
